Steve has over 30 years of experience in the appraisal profession. He started his career in real estate appraisal in 1989 with the valuation of single-family residences and soon began appraising a wide variety of commercial properties. His prior experience as staff appraiser for Cushman & Wakefield( A Rockefeller Company and the world’s largest privately-held commercial real estate services firm with headquarters in New York City) has greatly enhanced his ability to provide quality service for his clients.
Experience includes, but is not limited to, the valuation of institutional assets and going concern properties, CBD office and suburban office buildings, neighborhood retail centers, community and neighborhood shopping centers, hotels, motels, apartment complexes, residential subdivisions, medical related facilities, manufacturing and industrial properties.
Notable Properties Appraised Include: Bridge Street Towne Centre, Publix Shopping Centers, Office Buildings in Cummings Research Park, Hotels & Motels throughout Alabama, the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and numerous large Industrial Properties throughout the state.
VA and FHA Approved. Steve is VA and FHA approved and has extensive residential experience including appraisal of every type of residential property.
MAI Designated. MAI Designated membership from the Appraisal Institute. This Designation has long been recognized by courts of law, governmental agencies, financial institutions and investors as marks of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis.
Steve has also been approved as an F.D.I.C. Approved Commercial Review Appraiser. He has sat on the Appraisal Institute’s National Experience Review Panel and on the Appraisal Panel for the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
